Fox Chase has been down since the afternoon. Wire issues.

Fox Chase: Service remains suspended for the remainder of day while we make necessary overhead wire repairs. Passengers can connect with the Rte 18 bus at Broad St & Olney Ave; the Rte 24 bus from the Frankford Trans. Ctr.; or the Rte 28 bus from Fern Rock Trans. Ctr. Alternate service suggestions are available online.

Looks like there was some disruption this evening on the Paoli/Thorndale line. SEPTA alerts say residual delays of 60 minutes. Anyone know what the issue was, exactly? From TrainView (and from an informant stuck on one of the trains), it sounds like things are backed up between 30th St and Overbrook.

Reports of a locomotive dying somewhere underground in CC.

I was on a scheduled 8:40 arrival @ suburban and we stopped for ~15 minutes just after entering the portal south of Temple. Lost power and dumped air.

Doylestown: Service is suspended until further notice. Alternate service suggestions are available online.

As we were waiting for train 507 at Lansdale, the substation in the Lansdale parking lot started smoking. Police and fire departments responded, then the Alvinator announced service is suspended.

When it rains, it pours.

5711 was delayed 35-40 minutes this morning (Monday 11/28/16) leaving Doylestown - more "Manpower issues". 513 got slammed as a result & was full at Ft. Washington, leaving many behind there & elsewhere down the line. SEPTA ran a Protect train from Temple for the Trenton leg of 5711.

Wire problems. Septa is falling apart. It's a darn shame that all the money that SEPTA spends still results in poor service reliability. Sur hope none of the SEPTA management receive free parking at 1234 Market because they should have to suffer like the west of us.

Seriousl,y does management drive in or take public transit? If they are given parking it should be abolished and all executive vehicles stripped from the budget. Get them on buses, subways and trains and let them get a feel for the real Philly.

I understand you are frustrated at an unforeseen wire problem that caused issues, but what on earth does where a manager parks have to do with the overhead wires failing, and whether a manager pays a dollar a day to park isn't going to hold the wire up, also you do understand there are hundreds of miles worth of wire, it is bound to break somewhere as the weather conditions change, oh and it happens to every railroad that has wires in all countries

Trenton, Paoli, and Media lines all showing significant delays. The alerts say switch problems at Secane for Media, unspecified switch problems for Paoli, and no specific reason for Trenton (presumably cascading delays from the delays on the other two lines?).
