When the Pennsy removed the Trainphone antenna rails and stanchions (early 1960s??), what was left? Were the stanchions mounted on top of the exterior steel with bolts that were simply filled in with flush rivets or something? Or were the stanchions mounted in slots cut into the stell and haw were these filled in?

I'm trying to detail a model RS27 that had Trainphone originally but apparently lost it soon after delivery. I want to replicate evidence of where that stannchions were in their removed state if this was prototypically correct. So I'm trying to determine what the finished state looked like after removal.

Also, if anyone knows when this happend to the RS27s, I'd appreciate that info as well. Many thanks!
