An interesting aerial photo of the Illinois Railway Museum has recently been posted on Flickr. Taken very late in the day from the west, it highlights the roadway network and the ballast and subballast of the current and future tracks. The four-track yards on the right of the shot will be completed as required. On the left is the recently expanded parking lot, a portion of which is now paved. Taken last fall, the shot is outdated already, since Barn 11 (the Museum's ninth display barn) is already well along in construction.
