It's about time I updated these. Violations of these guidelines may lead to suspension or banning of members.

-MODERATION: Each forum has a moderator or team of moderators. Moderator abuse is forbidden. If you have an issue with the moderation please report it to me. Stay away from "backseat" moderation; that's our job. If you see a violation of rules, TOS, or guidelines, do not engage but use the report function.
-PLAY NICE: In other words, no flaming and no personal or ad hominem attacks. Argue your point or the issue.
-POLITICAL DISCUSSION: it's allowed as long as it relates to the railroad topic at hand and is not just a tangential attempt to inject politics into a discussion. Leave the "Democrats and Liberals are idiots" and "Republicans and Conservatives are racist" crap to your Facebook page. Keep it to Railroads!
- PROPER USE OF FORUMS AND THREADS: Members should familiarize themselves with the contents of forums and threads and post in the appropriate forum or topic. The search function works fairly well. I do not object to necro-posting. Use a title for new topics that is clear and related to your topic.
