So the train shoved to the mill w/o splat? Last year I saw the train locos run first to the mill. I wonder what the norm these days.

Yup, 5282 was the only engine they could bring on the train because SA31 was out with two engines and SA33 was getting ready to head out with 5280. So maybe it had something to do with them only being able to use one engine.
