RARE mileage offer

The Utica&Mohawk Valley chapter of the NRHS will host the national
directors annual meeting and sponsor 2 trips of local interest. These
trips are now being offered to the general public. Railfans take note!

1) Fri 10/22 Bus trip to historic Cooperstown;
Bus leaves Hotel Utica promptly at 8:00am to tour Union Station,
NYS&W shops, ride on the C&CV and lunch at the Otesaga Resort
Hotel. This round trip is scheduled to return to Utica about 4:30pm
The fare is $50.00 and includes all of the above. Seating for this
trip is Limited so act Fast.

2) Sat 10/23 RARE milage trip on Adirondack Senic RR to Lyons
Falls, NY. This line is the northern terminus of the MA&N
southern division and primarily runs freight. The NYC ended
passenger service sometime in the fifty's so a trip up here is
indeed a treat. Train leaves Utica Union Station promptly at
8:00am and includes a box lunch. Fare for this train is $75.00
for all seats.
