Does anybody know which railroads run through Columbus Indiana? Also, is the Toyota Forklift Plant located on rail?
Thanks

Louisville & Indiana (LIRC), a north-south former Pennsy line that
runs from Louisville to Indianapolis, passes through Columbus.
Anacostia & Pacific owns the line. CSX has haulage rights.
According to the company's web site at: "http://www.anacostia.com/lir/lir.html", the company
serves about a half-dozen customers in Columbus, but Toyota
Forklift is not listed. LIRC's operations are based in Columbus.
It runs daily turns from Columbus to each end of the line, in
addition to locals on various portions of the line. Recent annual
carloadings have been in the mid 20,000 to more than 30,000 range.
