The Adirondack Scenic Railroad is hosting a Railroad Memorabilia day in the Saranac Lake Union depot on August 2nd from 10-4. Memorabilia vendors will be on hand to share, sell, and display their items. Also on hand will be the Norfolk Hobby shop. This is a great place for serious modelers to expand their layouts at home.
Mike Kudish, author of several books pertaining the the Adirondack Railroads will be on hand to sign your copy of his book and will have copies of his newest publication to sell.
One can take the train from Lake Placid to Saranac Lake if they wish or they can attend directly at the depot on Depot St. in Saranac Lake. It promises to be a great time and hopefully will go over well enough to make it a yearly event.
Thanks to all in advance to anyone who may attend.

I totally forgot to mention that this year we're going to try a comedy train. On July 12 and again on the 26th we'll be running a special night train out of Lake Placid to Saranac Lake with a comedy show to be given in the depot in Saranac Lake. The train departs Placid at 6PM and the show starts at 7 in the depot. It all depends on how well the event was advertised to see how well it goes over. Let's hope that the people are getting the word out. Lot's of preperations have been done for these 2 trains so wish us luck.
