This section of the forums seem like a good place to post so here it goes. Between October 12th to October 21st, two friends and myself went around the Mid-West railfanning many locations. The locations we visited include:
● Scranton, Pennsylvania.
● Berea, Ohio.
● Elkhart, Indiana.
● Dolton, Illinois.
● Rochelle, Illinois.
● Galesburg, Illinois.
● The Illinois Railway Museum in Union, Illinois.
● Bellevue, Ohio.
● Fostoria, Ohio.
In total we saw and photographed 26 different railroads/leasing companies and around 310 locomotives. The railroads seen include:
● CSX.
● Norfolk Southern.
● Kansas City Southern.
● Union Pacific.
● BNSF.
● Canadian Pacific.
● Canadian National.
● Amtrak.
● Indiana Harbor Belt.
● Metra.
● Grand Trunk Western (now CN).
● Illinois Central (now CN).
● Elgin, Joliet, and Eastern (now CN).
● Iowa Interstate.
● Delaware-Lackawanna.
● BC Rail (now CN).
● Wisconsin Central (now CN).
● Southern Pacific (now UP).
● HLCX.
● CITX.
● CEFX.
● Burlington Northern (now BNSF).
● TFM (now KCS).
● Kansas City Southern de Mexico (KCS).
● Santa Fe (now BNSF).
● Conrail (now NS & CSX).
