Rail removal at Bush Terminal

Have you seen the recent photos by Hiroyuki Nakamura of the new 1st Ave siding at 40th Street for "Yi Pin". This work was expected to be completed late May / early June 2012 and will be completed shotyly with a delay of more than 2 years...

2 years late and wondering if 2x budget? Concrete ties on a siding...making it solid.

DDC had to do some major sewer reconstruction on First Avenue.

New siding looks good:

Looks like First Avenue will get repaved soon.

Most likey Water,Gas,and Phone lines need to be moved/replaced as well.
It's never easy to replace undreground lines in NY City.
