Comments on two points from the article:

The CP tunnel does indeed handle multilevel autoracks as well as doublestacks of containers of international dimension. It doesn't handle double stacks of containers of domestic-dimension.

AFAIK, the RRs using the tunnel under Bellows Falls don't run any single stack or piggyback traffic today between Montreal and the Northeast. So spending public $ to enlarge the tunnel for doublestacks is of questionable value. There is loose talk of a handful of daily autorack loads running through Bellows Falls once clearance is improved, though.[/quote]
