Yeah I was waiting for the C at 168th St. on this Monday's morning rush, and then the downtown A train rolled in, with slants!! I was like...holy ****! It's pretty to cool to see my favorite cars on my favorite line... 
Last call for Train 49 - Lake Shore Limited to Chicago with stops at --- Albany, Schnectady, Syracuse, Buffalo, Erie, Cleveland, Toledo, and intermediate stations.
I saw that photo of 4400 on nycsubway.org, I'm glad they have them back on the A line after so long
Sadly the A gives the best access to 207th yard - and we know what leaves from there!

The next stop is Washington. Change for Forest Hills Trains on the Winter St. Platform, and Everett Trains on the Summer St. Platform. This is an Ashmont train, change for Braintree at Columbia.

that's probably the only reason they are even running on the A.
