Has anyone come across this short-line feeder of the CNJ? One of my contacts says that he has seen a reference to it as running north off the Drifton branch between Drifton Junction and Eckley and ending nowhere, intending to form a loop with the Upper Lehigh branch but not making it. It was around for about 10 years after 1898. I've not seen it on any map.

Taber doesn't affiliate it with the CNJ, but sometimes he misses those things. According to him, it was chartered in '97, built in '98, but didn't operate until 1904. It began at Sandy Run Jct. and was supposed to run to White Haven Jct. (7 mi.), but only went 1.8 mi. along Pond Creek. Abandoned 1908, track removed 1910, corporation dissolved 1915.
