My wife just made me a gift of the extremely fascinating new book "FDR's Funeral Train" which recounts this operation and the events surrounding it in a great deal of detail. It contains a lengthy account of the train's operation (two trains, actually) on the Hudson Div. from Mott Haven to Hyde Park and return on April 15, 1945.
