A former employee of the Ghost Town & Calico Railroad at Knott's Berry Farm is planning a Dinner Train event for some time in December. Jason Van Horn has organized several of these events over the last couple of years, and they are always a resounding success. There is nothing quite like dining on Mrs. Knott's world-famous fried chicken in the 19th Century comfort of the palace car Durango, orginally built for the Denver & Rio Grande, and pulled by one of the C-19 narrow-gauge locomotives acquired by Walter knott in 1951.
