On March 6th, four days after a major snowstorm felled many trees in the Utica area, NYS&W ran its first post-storm train on the Utica branch.

Three MofW workers rode up front on No. 3040 checking for obstructions, particularly fallen trees.

The crew seemed to be in great spirits.
