Queens Borough Library archives - LIRR 1916-1932

The Queens County Library archives has a selection of early 20th century LIRR material available. Some

LIC terminal, 1920
Long Island City, 1924

New Union Hall Station, 160 Street, 1930
Long Island City carfloat, 1932

I understand Ron Ziel left his copious collection of negatives and slides, and a huge compendium of Long Island Rail Road material, to the Queensborough Public Library. This is possibly some of that material. It will take decades to sort and catalog it all.
