I don't recall seeing anything in print in several years, not since the CR carve-up anyway.

Best source for advice is probably the D&H discussion group on Yahoo.

Contact me off list if you have any specific questions. I work in downtown Albany (overlooking CPO1, in the middle of I 787) and have been fanning the area for better than 20 years.

A few years ago, I put out a book called"RAILFAN'S GUIDE TO THE EMPIRE STATE".
This covered the entire New York State and all railroads including Class 1's,Regionals, shortlines, Industrials and Museums.
While must of the information has changed. It may still be helpful.
I came 1 copy over this weekend that I have left. If you would be interested in it, let me know offline.

I am slowly redoing the entire book. I hope that I will be able to reissue it late 2005.
