Too bad they couldn't move them to the Strasburg RR for the time being. Hope they don't become a 'canvas' for the local 'misguided youngsters'.

You don't think the kids will graffiti them , do you? That would be almost as bad as what the PC did to the Gs, painting them solid black.

Probably more along the line of the Conrail Bi-centennial GG1. Now there was some SERIOUS ugly.

The Public Affairs Dept. went ballistic when they saw that paint job. Nothing was cleared with System before it was done.

Oh c'mon, it was no worse than the attempts by many other railroads and all in good spirit. Plus, it made a great prototype for the IHC model which still sits proudly on my display shelf ( and gets to run once in a while).
