I don't know a whole lot about the Providence and Worcester railroad and was curious as to what branch lines they control and how many dispatchers they have?

I believe they only have one dispatcher for the entire system, but could be wrong. It's been many years since I was last up in the dispatchers office in Worcester, so not sure.
When not on P&W property they are under control of host railroad, so one P&W Dispatcher(per shift) probably has no problem controlling entire P&W itself
If Conductors are in charge, why are they promoted to be Engineer???

Thanks for the info. That makes sense that they would only have one dispatcher on duty per shift.
The P&W has one dispatcher per shift and when P&W trains operate on Amtrak on the Northeast Corridor they are controlled by Amtrak dispatchers and P&W trains West of New Haven are controlled by Metro North New Haven Line dispatchers
