Spotted this today on a commuter train at South Station:

Its tough to see, but just above the number 1513, there's a bumper sticker that says:
"Pat McGinnis/Please Come Back", with his B&M logo on the left.

It has always been my understanding that PBM didn't do much good for the B&M, especially passenger service (and not too much for the New Haven either, outside of having the red/black/white "NH" logo/colors developed.

Any other sightings of this sticker? Are things that bad that someone is wishing for him to come back from the beyond?

Interesting/amusing sticker, but he's just about the last person you'd want to come back!

That sticker came out during the 1986 Guilford strike era. What it was saying was that as bad as McGinnis was, he was still better than Fink.

There was another one circulating about that time, "We know how to run a railroad, into the ground" It featured the Guilford big G sinking into the ground. You can sometimes find them at train shows.
