Saw a long train just north of Avon village yesterday 11/31. The train was returning south in the PM with the 428 and 420. It looked funny because the 428 was the most southerly unit with the cab facing north being attached to the correct facing 420. It was too dark to count cars and I have no camera.

I arrived back into Avon village at about 545 pm Wed. to find the lucky 8's switching the yard.
The 418 led the 428 south with a long and heavy train a few minutes later.
I'm not sure I've seen the same 2 engines on any of the road trips in the past few weeks.
Numbers 420 and 425 made the trip to Genesee Junction around mid-morning today. (I'm unsure of the car count for northbound trip.) The Alcos returned light to Avon late in the morning, did some switching and departed for Lakeville with a short consist early in the afternoon.
