I have heard that BPRR 3001 is sitting in sitting on the Buffalo yard tracks in Rochester, NY ready to be picked up by either Q625 or Q627. It is heading for Buffalo to be interchanged with the BPRR, and eventually go to the Butler, PA shops. This unit was involved in a electrical fire in Leroy, NY a few days ago, and is being sent to Butler for repair.
Let me know Rochester railfans when this unit starts it move to Buffalo. I would like to get a picture of it on the way to the shops.
