I'm surprised that nothing has been mentioned of the latest flooding. A washout of 2006 was repaired back then; It has washed out again, the mud and trees have slid down the hill and closed RT88 that runs between Binghamton and Albany.
It is between Port Crane and Binghamton. It's a major washout high up the side of a hill. Lucky no trains were involved.
