They've been getting shopped and painted over the past few months into YN3.

The yn3 program started in 2002 and now the roster is a good 60% re painted. I'm curiouse as to when csx will be done painting there whole roster? I think the yn2 paint gave the loco's character, especialy when put out in the elements for a long time.

YN3 has only begun to be applied to the AC6000's for the most part, in the past year, with a couple exceptions. CSX was more concerned with repainting CR engines into a unified paint sceme. As the AC6000's have come out of recession storage, and up for major overhaul, they are getting the YN3. Along with the AC44cw's, being some of CSX's newer power from the YN2 era, they have been the last to see the paint shop.

q410 on monday had 3 AC6000's in it along with a sd50. 2 of the ac6000's were dead in tow, the other lead the train. Reportedly they came out of waycross and headed to dansville.
