Cement Towers on North Ave. ??

Hello,
For years now I have driven past the now green towers on North Ave. in Bridgeport CT. Were these used for cement and did they see rail traffic? I believe not to far down the street there was street running that served some industries such as Bridgeport Machines. The reason why I ask this is for modeling purposes.
