Hello everyone. I was just curious about something. Was the entire CTA Pink Line (Douglas Park) elevated structure replaced with new construction when the line was rebuilt a few years back or was any steel structure left? I rode the line for the first time 2 weeks ago and I thought I saw some steel uprights etc etc? Im not a fan of the new elevated construction and love the old steel work and if anyone could answer this I'd greatly apprecaite it.

The crossing of BNSF/Metra between California and Kedzie stations was not replaced. The steel beneath the curve between 18th ST and Damen stations was not replaced either. Steel from that curve north to the 18th ST station is mostly original too.
