Harvard Sq 1/31

Does anyone know what happened to the Harvard Sq station today? There have been fire and T crews blocking traffic all day and steam coming out of the vents in the sidewalk. There was a big crane going down one too.

When did this happen? I passed through that station on a Red Line train around 12:15 this afternoon, and again around 9:45 tonight. Didn't see anything unusual on either trip.

Ditto...I was in Harvard (but all below street level) at about 7:30 am and again just before 5:00 pm going home, and never noticed anything unusual as I walked thru the station. In fact, the Red Line and the buses seemed to be having a pretty good day for once yesterday.

Uhhh... tritto for me. Passed through Harvard around 3pm and again an hour or so later.

Thats the thing, service wasn't affected. But all the activity was outside.
