B&M owned one HH660 and two HH600's. HH600 1101 & 1102, renumbered eventually to 1160 & 1161.Hmmmm... Are there any photos of these things floating around? I can only find pics of the Atlas HO model on the internet. Are there any major external physical differences between the two models? Again, I couldnt find much info about them online, just the same stuff cut-and-pasted from one site to the next.
HH660 #1162. All since sold or scrapped.

B&M owned two HH-600's and one HH-660, the 600's were numbered 1101 and 1102, 1101 was re-numbered 1161 and 1102 was re-numbered 1160. The 660 was numbered 1162. The 1101 was shot in Lowell in 1938 at what is now CPF-WA and the 1102 was taken in 1946 at Concord,N.H.
1101 and 1102 are quite different looking.IIRC the HH600 series was originally designed with the flat end, then ALCO had an industrial designer smooth out the rough edges and the more rounded hood and some other details were the end result.
was that flat front end and steam-engine style head light on 1102 as original, or a wreck repair perhaps?
