Hey Steam Fans!

The time has come to pony up to the plate and start being productive.

Ross Rowland and crew are preparing a new excursion.

Check out The Yellow Ribbon Express for the first conceptual artwork of the train.

We need to help spread the word, and when the time comes, be prepared to pony up cash and volunteer time to get the train ready.

This is an awesome opportunity to support our troops, and still show the world that the US can still pull off an awesome event of steam showmanship!

I'm not sure how active this site/project is given that it is April 11, 2008 and the lead page still says:
"This new web site is very much a "work-in-progress" and we encourage you to come back often as we will be greatly expanding the site during the month of August 2007, to include many details of this exciting and timely project."

Anyone know any recent news?

Not a word about this lately. No changes or updates to the website either. Still promising more details in 2007.

What needs to be noted that the YRE's predecessor, the American Freedom Train, took almost 7 years to plan.

I am under the impression that the new GreenBriar Express operation is Rowland's major focus at this time and is prob. the reason the Yellow Ribbon express seems to be on the back burner..
