West Hempstead Interlocking

Hi Guys,

I forgot my ETT at work and I was wondering what date did WM become interlocked a week or two or three a go.

Seems the Railroad made an Appendix X for the Day After Thanksgiving and King's Birthday. Since neither is a real holiday, Appendix X would cut some trains to permit those crews to report for some training classes.

Well Golly Gee. Appendix X, being published before Thanksgiving, didn't have the needed notations for the New West Hempstead and nobody caught the goofup.

So, today we have a block operator at West Hempstead all day long giving out train orders!
