Is MARC going to retire their AEM-7s and HHP-8s when AMTRAK does? Also if they do will they get ACS-64s?

No. MARC has not indicated that it will add on to the Amtrak order for ACS-64's to replace its fleet of electrics. Also MARC's fleet of AEM7's should be good for a several more years since they have all been recently overhauled.

Will their HHP-8s be overhauled?

The HHP-8s will probably be overhauled sooner or later (unless Maryland suddenly dumps a glut of money into transportation to just replace the things), but I highly doubt that this will happen for a few more years. After all, MARC's HHP-8s have only been in service for seven years. There is no standard by which they should be needing a rebuild already.

I hope some heads rolled over the HHP-8's many shortfalls and problems.
