Track Laborer

Getting hired as a track laborer do they send them to atlanta for training as they do concuctors? And I noticed under the track laborer posting for Manassas VA it says hiring for various locations throughout the system. My question is that I live 20 minutes from culpeper VA so how do i get hired to work out of culpeper or is that a signal department only?

I have to apologize. I didnt get hired with Norfolk Southern. I was wondering when you get hired do they send you to atlanta. Im currently a Track Worker for another railroad so I was wondering if they sent you to school, would i have to attend. Sorry
