Check Livernois Yard in SW Detroit. It probably had a snow plow a decade ago, when it was still Conrail before the sale. They must have a snow blower now, as I can hear a turbine running for hours after snow storms...

I believe Conrail 80012 to be Ex PRR 490389 Built in December 1917 with roller bearing trucks. I could not find any photos?

Its not 80012, but I photographed two "sister cars" 80014 and 80051, 25 years ago:

Otto,
can you post your photo of 80012?
im curious if it looks the same as "my" cars..
probably all the same PRR pattern?

(80051 is a *slightly* different, newer version..photo shows "BLT 8-1934")

thanks,
Scot

NH-S-18 was the regular snow plow in Waterbury, Connecticut back in 1956, 1957 and 1958. It is nice to know that it is still around and available.

On the CR MOW Roster, are the Jordan Spreaders listed as well?

I am looking for builder numbers and heritage of two different units.

CR 64627 Built 1946 - was at Olean and then Buffalo
CR 64605.

I also wonder if CR had rebuilt either of them.

Thanks, Pat

Seen CR 80014 in Lock Haven yard (NS) two times in a week. What was it before CR?
