Times Square to Path 33st station

What is the best method to get from Times Sq. to the Path 33rd street station? Walking? or is a subway route an option.

If the subway what is the exact line and can you give a geographic direction from TQ to the correct subway station?

when you get to 33st you can take the mta subway N,R,Q train one stop to 42st or you could just walk the 8 blocks i prefer the walking

Take a downtown N, R, Q or W train (42nd St station - between 7th Av and Broadway) to 34th St/Broadway/Herald Square (one stop). At 34th St, use the stairs at the front of the platform, exit thru the turnstiles, make a right, go down the stairs to the PATH station (33rd St).

If you decide to walk (takes about 15 minutes or so), walk down Broadway (not 7th Av) to 33rd St.
