Hi everyone,

I've noticed small yellow placards all of MBTA diesels.

So far I can make out

WATCH OUT
FOR
THE _______

It almost looks like WIRE but I'm not sure. The placard also includes a lightning bolt.
Any help or images are greatly appreciated.

It is "wires." They've been there since the NEC was electrified.

Thanks!

Is there an exclamation point?

The yellow stickers are on most if not all of the locomotives. They are to remind the engineer or whoever is climbing up on the nose to wash the windows that if they are on the south side, they may be under the catenary and should watch out and not touch it.

I looked this morning on 352's GP. There are two on the front, two on the rear. The exact wording is:

WATCH OUT
FOR
THE WIRE!
