I have noticed recently that the topo function on mapper.acme.com isn't working. Anyone know why? Any other current national topo maps on-line other than the pay for view topozone?

The Acme page is just pointing you to another service: terraservice.net. Sometimes it can be quite slow. I just checked, and the Topo layer is working for me.

Here is really great post; I would love to see a link to one of your maps.
May possibly you post one please? That would help me do a better job of pointing out any special features of topo mapping.

Best Regards,

When posting links, consider using the Geohack Server. It fronts for a cornucopia of map sources in one fell swoop.
