On the morning of November 18th, I got my first good photo of a Union Pacific Dash 9. the unit was a ex. Chicago North Western to boot. I did not get the numbers in the photo regretably. The photo was taken in the Fingerlakes region of Central New York State. If someone could please provide a list of the whereabouts of Union Pacific Dash 9's in the region on the moring of the 18th, it would be most helpful.
(Ps. The unit was in Amour Yellow)

Terry C mentioned it was painted Armour Yellow, as I think there are no CNW units still in yellow and green anymore. :( I went to utahrails.net, and looking at its 2002 roster and all its CNW Dash 9's are in the 9500-9800 number ranges. So there's a little head start. Here is the roster page. Hope this kind of helps.

I having some trouble posting the picture. I KNOW the unit had white number boards with black numbering. I DO NOT know, but I THINK the first two numbers were 98. Any other units with white number boards.

White number boards? Most of the ex-CNW Dash 9's i've seen have the standard UP black numberboards with white numbers. That one must still have its original ones.
