Ok, I asked this question in the old site, but the speculations posted there are lost so I'm going to ask it again with a little more details that should help narrow down what I'm seeing for people:
In SEPTA's yard across the tracks from Roberts (Not Midvale, it's the yard on the north side of the railroad tracks), there is a vehicle I've never seen before. It looks vaguely like an elongated hexagon (or even more vaguely like an N5), only it looks shoddy, like a child's toy. It's silver in general, but on each "nose" of it, it's painted yellow. On the nose facing inbound trains, "TC-80" is painted (and on the side of that nose is the SEPTA logo). On the side of the car, near the nose facing outbound trains, "EM-80" is printed.
Does anyone know what this is?
