On BUF-SAS RT actually encountered 2 refurbished. On #48 our viewliner (tower View) even had operating movie channel. I thought that was never again to be. Also. #32053 looked spiffed up: new carpet, seat material. Both down & back rode in room E of this car. On 21, I inserted the usual paper shims to eliminate 3 or 4 rattles, leaving them in upon departure. Believe it or not on return trip 10 days later not a rattle was to be heard! Could it really be that they did the Archie Bell on the loose screws?

I know that 32016 and 32068 are reburbished. 32053 was a wreck Repair it derailed in Utah on 9/13/01.

I had "no problem" with "state of goiod repair" on my recent trip to New York.

#32032 assigned to the 3000 line on #30(21OCT) was quite "shipshape", so was "Prairie View" on 49 (25OCT).

Maybe, just maybe, someone like Mr. Gunn means business.

Well, as I'm on the LSL tomorrow night, I'll try to note what car I'm on and its state of being.
