The Reading Modeler is happy to announce the release of our Reading Company "old style" cast-iron crossing signs in HO Scale! These distinctive 50-degree crossbucks and "STOP LOOK LISTEN" signs were made from cast iron, like the road's other wayside signs. Even though the railroad began phasing them out toward the end of its existence, they could still be seen guarding grade crossings on secondary branch lines well into the Conrail/NS era, including one example on the Reading & Northern in Leesport, PA as recently as a few years ago!

Like our wayside sign decal set, our crossing sign set will help you give your layout that true "Reading" look. The kit includes sufficient pre-cut "laser board" sign blanks and decals to model 4 grade crossing signs, affixed to the post of your choice. In addition to the crossbucks, the kit includes two sizes of the round "STOP LOOK LISTEN" discs, as well as a rectangular "Do Not Cross..." sign that was used at some crossings. The kit pieces are to be affixed to a post of the modeler's choice to allow for maximum modeling flexibility - the modeler can choose to include flashers, depending on the location being modeled.

The Reading Company crossing sign kits are $4.00 each, including shipping, and are in stock and ready to ship. To order, please visit the Reading Modeler Company Store at www.readingmodeler.com!

Thanks,
Tom Jacobs
