Officials said nine cars derailed on tracks near the Main Avenue exit of the North Scranton Expressway. Several cars are laying on their side. According to Canadian Pacific railways, the company that owns the railroad track, a Norfolk Southern train derailed just before noon Monday. It was traveling from Binghamton, New York to Enola, Pennsylvana. Some of the derailed cars were carrying 20 Ford Edges, a crossover vehicle, and lumber.
