Slightly off topic... Are the U18B's the ones that were fitted with rebuilt trucks from old FT's? The trucks look much different from its brethrens the U23B’s or the U25B's etc.

It takes real skill to choke on air, fall up the stairs and trip over nothing. I have those skills.

Some (but not all) U18Bs were delivered with EMD Blomberg trucks. The MEC units were among those fitted with Blombergs.
