I would like to take a road trip to the Baldwins and Alco's down near Cherry Hill (I know they are not that close to Cherry Hill, but I have a relative there). Does anyone recommend any days of the week and times of day for good Baldwin hunting? If that is not possible, then I would like to see the M420W's? Any tips would be appreciated.

Pureland Industrial Park, just west on Center Square Road, interchange with I-295, exit 10. The engine house is on Sharptown Road, a right if you're heading awy from the freeway. Baldwins are stashed all over the property, on sidings, etc.

I don't know friendly they are now. Last year they hosted a railfan open house and a few days later folks ripped off several horns from their locos.

As Lackawanna484 said, Baldwins are all over the place at SMS.

BTW, I believe it was eventually suspected that the horn theft was done by a long distance trucker.
