Does anybody know what the UP seniority districts are?

Could someone give me some insight into the UP seniority districts. How big and where?

We've kind of touched on this already. The seniority districts "for the most part" are the same as the service units. The service units follow combined seniority districts, for the most part. Subject to a couple of local interpretations, the answers have been posted in this Forum already, just use the search function..........

You can either ask your work foreman or go to your unions website and down load the collective barganing agreement CBA this will answer quite a few questions.

I easily located this post, on page 2......... http://www.railroad.net/forums/viewtopi ... 58&t=38549 As far as "how big", go to the UPRR Service Unit map, and you will see each area, shown in a different color. Each Service Unit is based in the city/state or region they are named after. As to how many people, or jobs in each unit, that's not easy to say. Some places are always hiring, some places have guys furloughed at the moment. Ask in the emplyment forum, for where the most jobs are at.........
