According to several sources, I have informed that CN is or has bought back the lines this railroad operates on. As a result, it is expected that ALL MLW power will be placed up for sale in the near future. NBEC Ry is located in New Brunswick, Canada. Updates will posted here later.

I understand that some have left the property.

UPDATE: According to one source, all except 3-4 have been retired! This is not good. Hopefully, most will be resold. 7 have been scrapped already(parts units?).

None have been scrapped yet. Still quite a few RS18's in service in NB and Que, but that will change rather quickly.
OCR's fleet may have been all replaced already though.

Reports have CN shipping most of the NBEC and OCR MLW(ALCO) units to Woodcrest yard in Chicago for disposition. Many have been seen on CN trains travelling from Montreal to Toronto in the past week.

2 Ottawa Central RS-18's have been sold to Trillium Ry.
