hey everyone, i just wanted to know if anyone knows what CSX train arrives in Attleboro at 10:30 pm, that comes from Middleboro (i think) is it B727?

to CSX conductor, do you know what units that train had? I think i saw 3 or 4, the lead unit was in the new YN3 scheme. they were sitting on the bridge over Pleasant St. near downtown Attleboro. I saw them at 10:47 p.m., Monday night

That would be B726 (former Conrail symbol was MI-01). usually they use all of the Middleboro engines, which is normally. They wait at Boro for B725 (FR-35) to arrive from Framingham (usually gets there around 1:00/1:30am.

More than likely one of the two was the 6222. It was with the 6223 in
Fall River Monday and New Bedford Tuesday.

what time does B726 leave Middleboro yard to get to Attleboro? 9:30?

I caught B727 on the Middleboro Secondary behind the old Texas Instruments building at 10 AM 5/16; they were switching B726's train before heading South to Taunton...any word on what happened last night to cause this late running?

For those interested and living in the Mansfield/Attleboro area, what looks to be B726 is sitting on the Middleboro Secondary near downtown Attleboro waiting for B725 and I'm assuming that B725 is in Mansfield waiting for mainline traffic to clear.

The Amtrak Main-Line TD told B725 they had to be onto the Framingham Secondary by 430am or else they weren't going anywhere. B726 was ready to pull B725 onto the mainline @ about 420am but the dispatcher said no. Therefore B726 outlawed and was re-crewed by B727's crew. B725 went towards the Framingham Secondary and I believe B735's crew re-crewed them.

wow, thats pretty harsh. I remember the conductor on B725 saying that 430 is the cutoff to get out of there. The first commuter train isn't due through Attleboro till 5:27, so why the importance of 430?

Speaking of Attleboro, I saw a a reference in another thread to an Attleboro-based customer named Forte Fiber. Anyone know anything about them? Internet searching has shown nothing.

Remember, there's also Amtrak's Acela Express 2151 which passes Mansfield and the Southern end of the Framingham Secondary at 5:33AM, I saw a freight train once, however head north from Attleboro towards the Framingham Secondary at 5AM on a recent weekday, and it was going north on the Southbound track, just 1/2 hour before 2151 was due to pass by the area.
