I'm planning an extensive roadtrip to explore the northern central region. so far, (from NYC area), out to H-burg, check out yards (from public areas of course!), n. along e.bank of susq. following buffalo line all the way up to n.y border, e.via erie to sayre/waverly, down old lehigh valley, back down to sunbury/northumberland, then check out western anthracite(shamokin/mt.carmel,etc) region. anything noteworthy or still remaining along the route (williamsport, newbury, jerseyshore, renovo, etc)? what kind of activity can one expect during daylight? detector locations? i have some notes on train symbols in operation, but not times. i've checked all the previous threads,
any tidbits would be greatly apreciated/thanks in advance
