I was at the Hyatsville Wye last week and caught some of the commuter action. My question is this... there were more northbounds than were in the schedule.

Did I just have a bad schedule (printed off the internet)?

Or, are there a number of deadhead nb moves in the AM?

I railfan the capital sub where it splits from the Old Main Line (St. Denis) and I have never seen a deadhead move. Now I'm not usually there all day, but I once went from 11-5:30 without seeing a deadhead so it's possible you have a bad schedule.
