First off, other than Amtrak between Bowie (Pope's Creek) and Landover, does CSX have trackage rights over any other railroads tracks in Cab Signaled Territory?

I know the only CSX owned Cab Signaled (CSS) Territory is the RF&P, the Hudson Line to Schenectady, and the B&A.

Also, are most of CSX's engines CSS equiped, or do you have to "add ahead" prior to entering and cut off after exiting?

They have trackage rights over Metro North from Poughkeepsie to the Bronx (which is CSS territory.)

CSX also has trackage rights between Oak Point and Mott Haven and New
Haven on Metro-North and between New Haven and Cedar Hill on Amtrak
which is cab signal territory. Also on various lines in Massachusetts out
of Boston.
The former R F & P between Washington and Richmond is also cab signal
terriory.
There may be other sections of former Conrail territory where they also
have rights but they do not come to me right now.

Almost all the widebodies that we see in Selkirk are equipped with cab signals. 500's, 600's, 700's, 800's 5000's to 5500's, 7300's and 9000's, all GE. The 70AC's 4700's and up to 4830 have them too, as well as most, if not all, of the ex-Conrail units, including the 40-2's, the 8800's and the 6200's, GP or SD.

On the B&A it is now very rare to have an add-on due to a lack of cab signals on the leader, but it does happen. Usually the non CSS unit will trail, and we'll just turn the power on the east end of the B&A.

Also CSX has trackage rights on SEPTA with the nightly freight between Lansdale Pa and South Philly and also between Lansdale and Warminster 2 xs a week. The Septa main line is cab signal rule 562 just recently completed between Wayne Jct and Lansdale. The Warminster branch will be receiving cabs later this year. Also The West trenton branch is Rule 562 between Wood Interlocking and Jenkin which is the connection with the main line of Septa. Normally freights dont travel between Wood and Jenkin since they have the shorter and mostly parrellel New York Short Line now the Trenton Line main but they occasionaly will run down to drop something in Lansdale but is extremly rare. Hope this helps

I know one no one thought of.....

The Metra Rock Island district has working cab signals. HOWEVER. the Freight here does have an exemption to move on signals with an odd paper authority. On the rare occasion a cab signaled unit is supplied they do indeed work, but are ignored and run the above way.
CSX uses this section of Metra to move from Blue Island to Joliet to access the New Rock subdivision.

ALSO........
CSX trains with working CSS systems are allowed to lead on the portions of NS where CSS is in use. Detour movements mostly. But occasionally a wandering HP hours unit will get used.
